Hey, Ms. Ludu did you have a grest vacation? I had alot of Christmas presents like clothes and toys. I actually got a betta for Christmas. My brother got me a betta and he wrapped it. When I opened it, it was a betta and a betta kit and the betta was wrapped seprately. And it was hunry already. So did you get a great Christmas? Write back!

I think when the Aluets came the people of Ghala-sat were really scared of the Aluets when they came. The Aluets also came to take there otters and will trade the people of Ghala-sat beads and other stuff. The Aluets also came to take their land so the Ghala-sat people had to live somewhere else. But “no” was what the cheif said to the Aluets so the Aluets called war. Karana’s father died in the war and her whole family died also.

Then there was a new cheif because the old one died. All of the peoples otters were gone. All they had to eat was fish. Karana’s dad died in the war to and her whole family died too. She felt sad that she had to live alone. Soon everybody died and she was the only one on the earth. Until two mens came and found her on the island.

How are you?I am fine. I had a great off track.Did you?First, it was my birthday.I had a birthday party.The sad part at my party was that only 8 of my friends came to my party.For Thanksgiving I went to Reno,Nevada and I had a lot of fun.I went to visit my 4 cousins and it was so awsome.I am so glad that I am back in school.Your the best teacher ever.
